We could only use 15 straws and selotape. It had to hold the weight of a rubber and cross a river that was 40cm wide.<\/p>\n<p>Olly &#8211; I really liked making the bridges because it was a challenge for us.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-171\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/files\/2019\/10\/20191003_141839-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also learned about measure and used rulers, measuring tapes and metre sticks to measure different things around the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Liam &#8211; I liked measuring around the classroom because it was fun.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-172\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/files\/2019\/10\/20191003_141749-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our final challenge this week was to work in pairs to design and make a maths game.
