Here are our highlights from the Green Table:<\/p>\n
Maja thought that our Woodland Library event was the best!\u00a0 P2B were lucky as we had 2 Woodland Library events!\u00a0 One session was with P4 reading to us and one was with P6.<\/p>\n
Eli always LOVES joined up handwriting!\u00a0 This week it was joining ng together.\u00a0 Next week we plan to revise the joins we have learned so far before moving on (un, ig, ed, an and ng).<\/p>\n
Lilly said the best part of her week was learning about the importance of cleaning our teeth.\u00a0 The children practised flossing on themselves.\u00a0 We learned a song that Mrs Devlin made up for her own children.\u00a0 Ask your child if they can sing it to you!<\/p>\n
Sofia loved giving the dinner tickets out with Mrs Begley this week.\u00a0 She was the successful candidate of the application form for Office Assistant in P2B.<\/p>\n
TJ \u00a0really enjoyed making music this week.\u00a0 We went out the MUGA with a range of musical instruments and in groups, tried to recreate river sounds (linked with our book study, \u2018The River\u2019 and our learning about the River Almond).<\/p>\n
Karina said the best part of her week was learning about the history of Livingston and is excited to make \u2018De\u2019Leving\u2019s Peel\u2019 next week!<\/p>\n
Mrs Devlin\u2019s favourite part of the week was the learning about the different strategies we can use to \u2018Get Back to Green\u2019.\u00a0 The children have been learning about the different Zones of Regulation.\u00a0 We learned about all the different things the children can do to make their brain feel\u00a0 happy and calm again: dancing, listening to music, spending time in nature, painting, reading, crafting, having a snack, having a drink of water, taking deep breathes, cuddling a teddy, receiving\u00a0 a hug, talking to someone about their worries\/problems…….<\/p>\n
