We have had another great week in P1. All the children have been working hard and showing us their fantastic learning.<\/p>\n

This week in Literacy we have been doing activities linked to the book ‘The River’ by Tom Percival.<\/p>\n

Aaron – We learned about the lifecycle of a tree.<\/p>\n

Luca – We looked at rivers. They can be angry and calm.<\/p>\n

Enso – We did writing about a river.<\/p>\n

Faye – We used tally marks to count our favourite season.<\/p>\n

Martyna – We made a pictogram of our favourite season.<\/p>\n

Rose – We learned about frogs.<\/p>\n

Faye – We learned about the lifecycle of frogs.<\/p>\n

This weeks focus sounds were ‘ee’ and ‘ai’.<\/p>\n

Victoria – We made snails because the sound ‘ai’ in the middle.<\/p>\n

We went to St Peters on Wednesday to visit Father Simon.<\/p>\n

Enso – He showed us Jesus on the cross.<\/p>\n

Faye – There were statues.<\/p>\n

Aaron – We saw a statue of Mary.<\/p>\n

Today, we attended virtual mass for St John Ogilvie Feast Day. We had a fun day playing games and eating cake.<\/p>\n
