{"id":16301,"date":"2023-02-24T09:45:28","date_gmt":"2023-02-24T09:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/?p=16301"},"modified":"2023-02-24T09:45:28","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T09:45:28","slug":"p2b-week-beginning-20th-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/2023\/02\/24\/p2b-week-beginning-20th-february\/","title":{"rendered":"P2B Week Beginning 20th February"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are our highlights from the Yellow Table:<\/p>\n<p>Lewis said, his favourite learning this week, was halving numbers.\u00a0 We used ladybirds and two leaves to help us.\u00a0 We know that half means dividing, or sharing between two.<\/p>\n<p>Thuran shared that he loved Pancake Tuesday.\u00a0 He tossed a pancake on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> try.\u00a0 He thought it was good fun.<\/p>\n<p>Ollie liked when we planted carrot seeds as part of our learning about farms.\u00a0 He watered the seeds.\u00a0 Thank you for your help Ollie.\u00a0 We look forward to watching them grow, measuring them and then finally enjoying them as part of the ingredients in a healthy vegetable soup.<\/p>\n<p>Isabella said, singing \u2018Miss Polly had a Dolly\u2019 with Mrs Morrison was her best part of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Musa loved writing an Information Report.\u00a0 We have been studying an Information Report about Ducklings.\u00a0 The children then chose their own title for their own report.\u00a0 Musa chose to write about scissors and he did a super job.\u00a0 Well done Musa!<\/p>\n<p>Ishaan has been enjoying watching \u2018Down on the Farm\u2019 episodes (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episode\/b08pj9xv\/down-on-the-farm-series-3-2-cows-in-spring-and-cauliflowers\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episode\/b08pj9xv\/down-on-the-farm-series-3-2-cows-in-spring-and-cauliflowers<\/a>) during snack time.\u00a0 His favourite one so far, has been about cauliflowers being planted and harvested.
