We are looking forward to more experiences of debate this year.<\/p>\n<p>We have been working on Fractions, Decimals and Percentages, links between them and how to find a fraction or percentage of an amount. Our NSAs (formally SNSA) Standardised Assessments are next week so F.D.P will continue in the New Year.<\/p>\n<p>We have written our final Explanation Report, for this term, where we had free choice of the topics. Mr McGurn is looking forward to finding out about a very large and varied cross section of topics like: How Football was Invented or How to Win at Modern Warfare.<\/p>\n<p>In health and wellbeing we have begun to learn about the Zones of Regulation, which is a tool to help us better understand our emotions and how to deal with them. We played Bingo&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-15462\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/uploads\/sites\/6314\/2022\/12\/09125717\/IMG_5208-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and discovered the area in the classroom where we can take a little break from things if we find ourselves in the red or yellow zones&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-15461\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/uploads\/sites\/6314\/2022\/12\/09125713\/IMG_5210-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Chiedochie and Tanvi who both placed in the Top 10 in our recent West Lothian Sumdog Competition!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-15460\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/uploads\/sites\/6314\/2022\/12\/09125711\/IMG_5211-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pardhu and Katie both mention their highlight of the week being &#8216;getting ready for the NSAs&#8217; whilst Chiedochie said her highlight was, &#8220;Our class did a debate of renewable and non-renewable energy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s Hot Chocolate at Home winner was&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-15470\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/uploads\/sites\/6314\/2022\/12\/09130241\/IMG_0072-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Monty!
