{"id":15304,"date":"2022-12-02T11:43:47","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T11:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/?p=15304"},"modified":"2022-12-02T11:44:19","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T11:44:19","slug":"p6b-2nd-dec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/2022\/12\/02\/p6b-2nd-dec\/","title":{"rendered":"P6B &#8211; 2nd Dec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello P6B families!<\/p>\n<p>We have had another great week.<\/p>\n<p>Miss MacGregor&#8217;s highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating the Christmas Door Display together<\/li>\n<li>Starting to understand how to calculate percentages of an amount and using our knowledge of division.<\/li>\n<li>Exploring different expositions and marking them against the genre targets in our Learning Groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pupil highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vivien &#8211; I enjoyed doing the Nativity Star of Light artwork<\/li>\n<li>Jayden &#8211; I enjoyed trying to catch up to P6A in the Sumdog competition. I am very glad that we managed to get to 15th place after starting in 102nd in 2 days!<\/li>\n<li>Praise &#8211; I enjoyed learning how to calculate percentages of an amount and understanding the real life skill.<\/li>\n<li>Jude &#8211; I liked creating the fraction walls to better understand equivalent fractions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well done to Jude who was this week&#8217;s hot chocolate winner.
