Hello P2B families!<\/p>\n

Here are our highlights from the Yellow Table:<\/p>\n

Reesa loved finding out that she was the winner of the Christmas Concert invite that was going to be emailed to parents.\u00a0 Everyone did so well, it was challenging to pick a winner!<\/p>\n

Emily-Ann enjoyed our handwriting lesson this week were we focused on r, n, m and h.\u00a0 Ask your child what all these letters have in common.<\/p>\n

Amy has loved practising our songs for the concert.\u00a0 Her favourite is, \u201cWe Call His Name Jesus\u201d.<\/p>\n

Georgia Rose said the best part of her week was writing about rainbows.\u00a0 Our new topic has been \u2018Weather and the Water Cycle\u2019.\u00a0 As well as this, we have been learning about the Bible story, \u2018Noah\u2019s Ark\u2019.\u00a0 The children can confidently talk about why we have rainbows after rain.<\/p>\n

Ciara has also loved the lessons on Weather and the Water Cycle.\u00a0 This week we heard a story about a raindrop that went on a journey.\u00a0 You can find it here: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nIkRu9LL4sk<\/a><\/p>\n

Mrs Devlin\u2019s favourite part of the week was our lesson about Advent.\u00a0 The children drew around their hand on green paper and together they will form a beautiful wreathe.\u00a0 We learned that the leaves on a real wreathe are ever green leaves and the shape a circle, so like God\u2019s love for us, it will never end.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Emily-Ann, our hot chocolate award winner this week!<\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming another new pupil next week, Isabelle.\u00a0 We hope she will feel welcome and part of our St John Ogilive family.<\/p>\n

Just a reminder that on Wednesday, St Andrew\u2019s Day, the children are welcome to wear tartan.\u00a0 It will also be the day of the flu vaccine (nasal spray) and Friday will be PJ day where the children are invited to bring a food item for the food bank to school that day.<\/p>\n
