Hello P2B families!<\/p>\n

Here are our \u2018Best Bits\u2019 from the Yellow Table:<\/p>\n

Aaron said he loved making tie dye socks!\u00a0 This was part of our learning about what fashion was like when our grandparents were young.\u00a0 These socks will come home once everyone has had a chance to make them.\u00a0 We still need to catch a few people who were absent this week.\u00a0 Our knew topic for this term is ‘Weather and The Water Cycle’.<\/p>\n

Georgia-Rose said the best part of her week was football skills during PE.\u00a0 She scored a goal!<\/p>\n

Emily-Ann liked writing a Senses poem about the weather with her partner and they successfully added 3 descriptive words!\u00a0 Well done guys!\u00a0 Next month, during our story writing lessons, we will be focusing on adding descriptive vocabulary to include words about: colour, size, texture, number, shape or verbs.\u00a0 This will up level our writing and make it more interesting to read.<\/p>\n

Amy said she could not choose.\u00a0 She must of enjoyed everything!<\/p>\n

Ciara loved identifying different trees in our woodlands.\u00a0 Mrs Callaghan had taught the class the Bible story about Zacchaeus.\u00a0 The story features a sycamore tree.\u00a0 We decided to see if there was a sycamore tree in our wood land behind the school.\u00a0 We gathered different types of leaves and used the app, \u2018Plant Snap\u2019 to identify the names of the leaves.\u00a0 We discovered that there was!\u00a0 We were very excited to find that out!<\/p>\n

Mrs Devlin\u2019s favourite part of the week was watching the super interviews on Seesaw!\u00a0 We have heard how one grandparent would travel on a horse and cart and that there were no seatbelts in cars when they were young!\u00a0 We are looking forward to watching more!<\/p>\n
