It was lovely to see all our friends again this week after the October holiday. Although it was a short week, we have managed to squeeze a lot of good learning and play into our days in P1B.<\/p>\n

We have been learning the letter and sound ‘a’ this week. We started to blend our learned sounds together to make words, we were all very excited that we could sound out, build and read words.<\/p>\n

Cameron – I liked colouring in an apple.<\/p>\n

Owen – I liked using m to make words.<\/p>\n

We have been adding up to 10 this week and enjoyed using the Ipads to do our task on Seesaw.<\/p>\n

Connor – I liked using the Ipads.<\/p>\n

Martyna\/Owen – I liked counting conkers.<\/p>\n

Outdoor learning this week was based on the book ‘Leaf Man’ because we have been learning about seasons. We collected our own leaves and made a leaf man in the playground for the wind to blow away on an adventure. We all know what trees look like in the different seasons.<\/p>\n

Faye – I liked making leaf man.<\/p>\n

Rhain – I liked leaf man.<\/p>\n

Azmeer – I like it when leaves fall off trees.<\/p>\n

Owen – I like picking leaves off the ground.<\/p>\n
