Welcome back to another P3B weekly update.<\/p>\n

It has been a very busy week in Primary 3!<\/p>\n

Maths:\u00a0 <\/strong>In Maths we have been continuing to learn about Fractions and shading fractions of a shape.\u00a0 We also started some work on how to measure weight using grams and kilograms.\u00a0 We will continue with this next week.<\/p>\n

Literacy:<\/strong>\u00a0 We finished the story \u2018The Man Who Wore All His Clothes\u2019.\u00a0 In groups we carried out some role play activities, acting out the main parts of the story.\u00a0 Here are some photographs of us in action, there were some excellent acting skills on show.<\/p>\n

We then started a new book called \u2018The Whole Truth\u2019.\u00a0 We looked at the front cover and made predictions about what we think might happen.\u00a0 We also investigated the two main characters and wrote down their main features and qualities.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Learning: <\/strong>\u00a0We went outside on Wednesday and completed a measure treasure hunt.\u00a0 It was a lot of fun and the children managed to find all of the items on the list.<\/p>\n

Learning Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amelia:<\/strong>\u00a0 I liked playing the games in PE.<\/p>\n

Matteo:<\/strong>\u00a0 I enjoyed being outside in the woodlands doing our measure scavenger hunt.<\/p>\n

Mariam:<\/strong>\u00a0 I enjoyed free writing Friday, I finished my chapter book.<\/p>\n

Layla:<\/strong>\u00a0 I liked doing the stained glass window picture for the month of Mary.<\/p>\n

Jonah:<\/strong>\u00a0 I liked talking about what makes a good team.<\/p>\n

Jude:<\/strong> I enjoyed learning how the trundle wheel works in Maths.<\/p>\n

Aiden:<\/strong> I loved recording sounds on Sound Lab.<\/p>\n

Remember that Monday is a holiday and we are back at school on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
