This week we have been learning the sound \u2018igh\u2019.\u00a0 We had an Easter hunt to find words and then we had to circle the correct answer on our sheet.\u00a0 We had great fun!\u00a0 In writing we had to write a sentence about which Easter egg we thought was the best.\u00a0 We are getting very good at using the word \u2018because\u2019.<\/p>\n
In maths we have been practising our subtraction strategies through word problems.\u00a0 We also decorated some egg shapes and made sure the pattern was symmetrical.<\/p>\n
In RE we have been learning about the events in Holy Week.\u00a0 We made beautiful crosses using the paint dabbers.\u00a0 We think they look like stained glass windows.<\/p>\n
We finished the term with time up in the woodlands with our buddies.\u00a0 We had hot chocolate and marshmallows at the fire pit.\u00a0 We also had an Easter egg hunt and some time for play.\u00a0 Thank you to Mr McGurn, Mrs Dwane and Mrs Carlyle for helping to organise it all.<\/p>\n
