This week we have been learning about the five cogs for Emotion Works.\u00a0 We have sorted out cards to match up with the cogs and have been thinking a lot about words that name our emotions.\u00a0 We enjoyed having choosing time outside on Wednesday when the weather was lovely.<\/p>\n
Our seeds have now started to grow into seedlings.\u00a0 We are very excited to see how much they will grow over the next week.\u00a0 Then we will be able to take them home.<\/p>\n
In phonics we have been learning the \u2018oi\u2019 and \u2018ou\u2019 sounds.\u00a0 We have been practising reading words with these sounds and also spelling words.\u00a0 In writing we have been learning about exposition texts and we wrote about which baby animal we thought was the cutest.\u00a0 We are getting very good at remembering our capital letters and full stops.<\/p>\n
In maths we have been working on our addition skills and using the games on Topmarks to help us.\u00a0 We also did some more work on the greater than and less than symbols.<\/p>\n
In RE we listened to a story about Jesus walking on water.\u00a0 We coloured in a picture to show what happened in the story.<\/p>\n

Zion \u2013 I liked playing outside in the sun.<\/p>\n
Jack \u2013 I liked playing outside with my buddies.<\/p>\n
Linda \u2013 I enjoyed doing the fairies with the buddies.<\/p>\n
Caleb \u2013 I enjoyed making a tower with the loose parts.<\/p>\n
Ollie \u2013 I enjoyed playing duck, duck, goose with all the buddies.<\/p>\n
Aadya \u2013 I enjoyed playing in creative zone.<\/p>\n
