Hello P2A families!<\/p>\n
Here are the learning highlights of the week from the Yellow Table:<\/p>\n
Aiden G loved making his grass head.\u00a0 The children are growing grass as a follow up to a book week activity as well as learning about what plants need to survive.\u00a0 They personalised them with different facial features.\u00a0 They are looking forward to watching them grow and eventually being able to give them a haircut!<\/p>\n
Pola liked learning about the moon.\u00a0 We saw images of it up close on the NASA website and watched the very first moon landing!\u00a0 We practised saying, \u201cOne small step for man, one giant leap for mankind\u201d in an American accent.<\/p>\n
Ruari enjoyed our St Patrick\u2019s Day craft.\u00a0 I hope you enjoyed the pictures on Seesaw.<\/p>\n
Rebekah liked our Word Boost story, \u2018Owen and the Mountain\u2019.\u00a0 Her favourite word was \u2018enter\u2019.\u00a0 Mrs Devlin says this word each day in Spanish as the children enter the room.<\/p>\n
Eva loved PE with Mrs Lafferty this week as the children continue to develop their gymnastics skills.<\/p>\n
Kyle said the highlight of his week was writing a list about what he would pack for a trip to the moon.\u00a0 He said he would definitely need to take a book to enjoy.<\/p>\n
My highlight was our Day of Prayer activities on Friday.\u00a0 The children where split into small groups and each had a P7 helper.\u00a0 Clipboard in hand, they went into the playground in search for different items in nature.\u00a0 Upon finding these items, they ticked them off on the chart and gathered together in their group where the P7 led them in prayer, thanking God for his beautiful creation.\u00a0 Thank you P7s for your support with our P2s.\u00a0 You were very responsible and respectful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
