We continued to learn about The Wright Brothers and their great flying invention. In science we were challenged not only to make a paper aeroplane with the success criteria that is glides, but were also challenged to make a parachute to safely land a playmobil figure. We all loved these challenges and look forward to next weeks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-137\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/files\/2019\/09\/20190927_213931-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-138\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stjohnogilvieprimary\/files\/2019\/09\/20190927_213845-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Math we have been learning about rounding numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. We have also been working out the area of shapes by counting squares.<\/p>\n<p>We are all doing brilliantly with our reading and have been learning the skill of looking for clues and reading between the lines to make inferences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a great week of learning this week.
