This week we have been learning the sound \u2018sh\u2019.\u00a0 We wrote words that had \u2018sh\u2019 at the beginning and the end.\u00a0 We celebrated World Book Day and we read the book \u2018Robot Rumpus\u2019.\u00a0 We designed a new front cover.\u00a0 Our mystery reader was Mrs McLaughlin and she read us a story about someone stealing jewels.<\/p>\n
In maths we were programming the Beebots and we had to test them out.\u00a0 We had to make them go forward, backwards, left and right.\u00a0 We always have to remember to press the x before we put in the instructions.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday we had pancakes and made a graph to show our favourite toppings.\u00a0 We also learned about halves and quarters.\u00a0 We carefully cut our pancakes and then we got to eat them!<\/p>\n
In RE we have been learning about Lent and Ash Wednesday.\u00a0 We enjoyed watching the video of Fr Simon burning the palm crosses to make the ashes.\u00a0 We had an assembly about the SCIAF Wee Box.\u00a0 We have our box ready for the coins.<\/p>\n
