This week has been a very busy week in P1A.\u00a0 We have been learning our new sounds \u2018ai\u2019 and \u2018oa\u2019.\u00a0 We are reading words with these sounds and even spelling words too!\u00a0 We have written another information report this time about Apples.\u00a0 We each got an apple to take home after we had written some sentences about it.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday we celebrated \u2018Twosday\u2019 with lots of activities about the number 2.\u00a0 We read a book called \u2018Two of Everything\u2019 and then started to double numbers all the way to 10.\u00a0 We made crowns and had special colouring in sheets in Creative Zone.<\/p>\n
As part of our topic work we have been learning about the lifecycle of a plant and the different parts of a plant.\u00a0 We learned about the Fairtrade logo and coloured in our own one.\u00a0 We are now going to look for the logo when we are shopping.\u00a0 We watched a video about Fairtrade bananas and the main character was a super banana called Pablo.<\/p>\n

Diana \u2013 I enjoyed joining the letters to write the sound.<\/p>\n
Linda \u2013 I enjoyed learning the new sounds.<\/p>\n
Angel \u2013 I enjoyed watching Pablo the super banana.<\/p>\n
Vivien \u2013 I enjoyed learning how to cut in creative zone.<\/p>\n
