Hello P2A families!<\/p>\n

Here are the learning highlights of the week from the Green Table:<\/p>\n

Lucas enjoyed making Valentine\u2019s Day cards.\u00a0 The children worked hard to make beautiful cards for their Valentine.\u00a0 We had much discussion this week about love and how we show love and kindness to one another.<\/p>\n

Kayla loved continuing to learning about Livingston.\u00a0 This week we learned about James Young and his discovery that oil could be extracted from shale.\u00a0 We drew the shale mountains we see around Livingston on the ipads.<\/p>\n

Nathan liked our learning about half past.\u00a0 We discovered there is one tricky half past time that breaks the rules \u2013 half past 12!\u00a0 Ask your child how this time breaks the rules.<\/p>\n

Emily loved playing \u2018shop\u2019.\u00a0 We learned how to give the shopkeeper the price using a range of coins.<\/p>\n

Isabel enjoyed our Word Boost story this week called \u2018Ingenious Jean\u2019.\u00a0 Her favourite word to learn was \u2018amazing\u2019.<\/p>\n

My highlight has to have been the discussions about love and how our families show us love every day in their actions and words.\u00a0 We also looked at weddings and how adults can show their love in this public family celebration.\u00a0 Ben told us all about the important job he did at his parent\u2019s wedding recently.\u00a0 Thank you, Ben.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to this week\u2019s Hot Chocolate award winner, Isabel!<\/p>\n
