Hello Families of P1B!\u00a0 I cannot believe we have been at school for one whole week and how far we have come!\u00a0 The children are settling in very well and getting themselves organised quicker each day as they become more familiar with our routines.\u00a0 Some highlights of our experiences at school so far are quoted as follows: Paige liked it when we chased each other around the room with feathers.\u00a0 We were pretending to be Ticklish Two the swan.\u00a0 Ticklish Two is a character in our Number Zoo that helps us learn how to form the number 2 correctly.\u00a0 Markuss has loved meeting our Spanish friend ‘Paula’ the friendly caterpillar.\u00a0 Paula has taught us how to say, “Hello, Goodbye and My name is” so far in Spanish.\u00a0 Ishani S also claims that learning some Spanish has been her favourite part of Primary One so far.\u00a0 Finally, Jonah thinks that cooking and tasting asparagus has been his highlight.\u00a0 We were learning about asparagus as part of our ‘a’ phonics.\u00a0 We look forward to all the exciting things coming up next week!\u00a0 Watch this space….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
