This week we have been learning two new sounds \u2018l\u2019 and \u2018r\u2019.\u00a0 We can say the sounds, we can write them and we can say our common words.\u00a0 In writing we wrote about what we would do if Santa got stuck in the chimney.\u00a0 We had lots of good ideas to get him out!<\/p>\n
For topic we have been sorting out toys.\u00a0 We found toys that we had to push and other toys that we had to pull.\u00a0 We talked about how they work and what they do when they work.\u00a0 Some made noise, some made light and some moved.\u00a0 We used the toy catalogues to find toys that used electricity and ones that did not.\u00a0 We cut the pictures out and glued them on a special sheet.<\/p>\n
We have been doing lots of Christmas activities.\u00a0 We even made ourselves into elves!\u00a0 We made special cards for our buddies and we made snowmen pictures with our finger prints.<\/p>\n
Every day we have listened to the Advent stories that the Primary 7s have been reading.\u00a0 Our favourite was \u2018Rudey\u2019s Windy Christmas\u2019.\u00a0 We knew this story well because we had read it in our classroom.<\/p>\n

Caiden \u2013 I liked playing the game duck, duck, goose in PE.<\/p>\n
Ollie \u2013 I liked having a race outside with lots of other people.<\/p>\n
Chimamanda \u2013 I liked playing with the lego.<\/p>\n
Rory \u2013 I liked playing with the transformers.<\/p>\n
Vivien \u2013 I liked making our craft bags.<\/p>\n
Diana \u2013 I liked reading the Christmas books.<\/p>\n
Aadya \u2013 I enjoyed playing tag outside.<\/p>\n
