Here are the learning highlights of the week from the Yellow Table:<\/p>\n
Eva enjoyed colouring in the paper chains that we will use to decorate the classroom next week.\u00a0 They had trees, stars and candy canes on them.<\/p>\n
Rebekah liked making the work ID badges as part of our topic learning.\u00a0 I hope you enjoyed the photographs of your child wearing them on their Seesaw.<\/p>\n
Pola loved story writing this week.\u00a0 The title was, \u2018When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney!\u2019\u00a0 We had many different ideas about who could help Santa: police, reindeers, elves, firemen\u2026\u2026.even Paw Patrol! \u00a0They were super!\u00a0 Congratulations to Julia who won the competition for who could include the most adjectives in their story.<\/p>\n
Aiden liked playing \u2018Squashy Subtraction\u2019 as we revised subtraction within 10.\u00a0 Next week we move onto subtraction within 20 and beyond.<\/p>\n
Ruari liked looking at the bird\u2019s eye view of Livingston on Google Earth to spot local jobs and places of work.\u00a0 Due to staff absences, we were unable to go on our walk on Monday but this was a good Plan B.<\/p>\n
Kyle loved the filming of the Nativity today.\u00a0 He was a Narrator.<\/p>\n
My highlight has been the show today.\u00a0 My heart swelled with pride.\u00a0 The children did so very well!\u00a0 The singing and acting was amazing! You will be sent out a code in due course that will allow you to access the fabulous \u2018Donkey for Sale\u2019 Primary Two production.\u00a0 Look out for a photograph of your child in their costume next week on Seesaw!\u00a0 A big thank you to Ella, Eva and Pola who created 3 of the beautiful background pictures that will form the backdrop for the show in conjunction with the green screen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
