We have had a very busy week in P3B!<\/p>\n
As it is Anti-Bullying week, we have been focusing on how to be kind to others and what to do if someone is being unkind to us.\u00a0 We even got some advice from Horrid Henry and his friends!<\/p>\n
This week was also Book Week Scotland.\u00a0 Unfortunately, we have not received enough Book Bags for all of the Primary 3 children yet, however as soon as they arrive, the children will receive these.\u00a0 We have looked at the books that are in the bags and looked at the different materials they will receive.\u00a0 The children really enjoyed the stories, especially Octopus Shocktopus!\u00a0 On Wednesday, the children were authors for the day and made their very own books, including front covers and blurbs.\u00a0 They really are fantastic!<\/p>\n
In Maths, we have been continuing to work on addition and the children are working hard to improve their mental addition skills.\u00a0 We have also been looking at tessellation where the children have been identifying examples of where you may see tessellation in every day life, Paige even noticed that there was tessellation on the soles of her shoes!\u00a0 Ask them if they can find an example around the house.<\/p>\n
