We have been working on performance poetry this week and everyone in the class has worked in a group to act or read poetry to the class.\u00a0 We are now writing our own performance poems, using sounds we hear in everyday life and rhyme.<\/p>\n
In maths, we revised how to lay out our column sums in our jotters and we all know the importance of making sure the numbers are in the correct columns.\u00a0 We are excited to be working on exchanging numbers next week.<\/p>\n
In class, we have been reading the novel “The Boy Who Grew Dragons” and have taken part in lots of activities relating to the story.\u00a0 \u00a0We have drawn dragon eyes, created our own dragons and written about them and drawn dragonfruits.\u00a0 This week has been the most exciting as we tasted dragonfruit!\u00a0 Everyone tasted it and most of us thought it was ok but it didn’t really have any taste to it.\u00a0 The dragonfruit looked like a red egg with spikes and in our story dragons grow inside them.<\/p>\n
We are all looking forward to more learning next week!<\/p>\n
