This week in P2B for our topic, When Our Grandparents Were Young, we have been learning about the first Supersonic flight which took place in 1977. The children loved watching the plane take off and then had fun making their own paper planes. We then had a few lessons linking to planes and pretended to book a class trip from London to New York (which is the journey that the supersonic flight made).<\/p>\n
The Blue table shared their highlights from this week:<\/p>\n
Daniel – I liked making my passport because it was super fun.<\/p>\n
Nicolas \u2013 The Shape hunt with the tally marks was fun because I found all of the triangles.<\/p>\n
Aleksander \u2013 I liked the Javelin throwing (pretending it was a plane) because it was fun and I won first place. We learned about first, second, third in maths.<\/p>\n
Rowan \u2013 Booking the pretend trip to New York was really funny and I like that all of us are going with Miss Lawrence.<\/p>\n
Moeez \u2013 I liked the passport lesson because it was fun to make and show our passports to the class.<\/p>\n
Sean \u2013 Passports too because I liked making it and it was very fun.<\/p>\n
