This week we have been reading \u2018Little Red Riding Hood\u2019.\u00a0 We were sticking the pictures in the right order, we using our describing to write about Little Red Riding Hood, we made a card for Granny to get well soon and we made basket of food for Granny.\u00a0 We made sandwiches and we took them outside to eat them in and watched the P7s doing their sports.<\/p>\n
We have been learning a new sound it is \u2018ou\u2019.\u00a0 We also learned the sound \u2018igh\u2019 and \u2018oi\u2019.\u00a0 We made words using these sounds.<\/p>\n
In maths we have been learning to count in 5s, 2s and 10s.\u00a0 We have been thinking about the teen numbers.\u00a0 We watched Numberblocks 13 to help us.\u00a0 We can split the number to say how many tens and how many ones.<\/p>\n
During Sports Day we had to do lots of different challenges.\u00a0 We all got a sticker (Mrs Newall got a sticker too) and Mrs Lafferty said we worked very hard.\u00a0 Miss Stebbing was very impressed!<\/p>\n

Ruari \u2013 I learned about writing my name.<\/p>\n
Kyle \u2013 I learned to say my sounds properly.<\/p>\n
