P2B have started to record the highlights of their week again on our school blog.\u00a0 Here are our best bits!<\/p>\n
Amelia like making wands for our \u2018Magic e\u2019 learning.\u00a0 The wands helped the \u2018Magic e\u2019 to turn vowels into their letter names.\u00a0 This week we have been focusing on words with the vowel \u2018a\u2019.<\/p>\n
Matteo enjoyed writing a letter, recounting how he planted a seed.\u00a0 We have been learning about recounts this week.\u00a0 We know that they are divided up into three sections: \u2018Orientation\u2019, \u2018Sequence of Events\u2019 and \u2018Personal Comment\u2019.<\/p>\n
Stefi loved watching her sunflower seed grow each day.\u00a0 The light monitors had the special job of watering the seeds.<\/p>\n
Millie said she liked when we were learning about stories that had \u2018Good verses Evil\u2019 characters.\u00a0 We listened to the story the \u2018Three Billy Goats Gruff\u2019 and then acted it out.\u00a0 We had some interesting discussion afterwards about what different choices the Troll could of made instead of wanting to eat the goats if he was hungry and was the Daddy Goat a good character if he used his horns to push the troll into the river?<\/p>\n
Zac liked learning more about Mary, the mother of Jesus this week.\u00a0 May is a month that we think about and pray to Mary more so than any other months.<\/p>\n
Emily liked having music with Mrs Morrision and clapping along with the beat.<\/p>\n
Mrs Devlin\u2019s highlight has to be when we started our learning about Times Tables.\u00a0 Our learning about this began with our shoes being thrown into the centre of the room and realising that we could not count a whole pile but would need to organise them.<\/p>\n
Thank you to our two Lead Learners Jonah and Markuss.\u00a0 They set a target of sitting more still on the carpet for everyone to work on.\u00a0 We had some wrigglers this week but know that good listening means good sitting and good looking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
