This week in Phonics we learned about Inky\u2019s Vowel House.\u00a0 We are able to say the different sounds for each part of the house.\u00a0 Ask us about the story. In writing, we wrote instructions for how to plant a seed. We are getting really good at using our sounds to spell words.<\/p>\n
In RE we learned about Palm Sunday and Jesus coming into Jerusalem on a donkey.\u00a0 The people waved palms and said \u2018Hosanna\u2019.<\/p>\n
In maths we have been listening to a song about numbers.\u00a0 Not just counting in 1s but in 2s, 5s and 10s.\u00a0 It is easy peasy! Miss Stebbing has been very impressed with how well we have remembered our doubles sums.<\/p>\n
In Topic we learned about the lifecycle of a frog.\u00a0 We have made a special display in our classroom to show our learning.<\/p>\n
At outdoor learning we had bubbles to play with.\u00a0 It was great fun!\u00a0 We also had chalk and some people drew pictures of minibeasts.\u00a0 The fairy garden was also out for us to play with.<\/p>\n
We have been trying hard to be kind to each other this week.<\/p>\n

Zosia \u2013 I enjoyed learning about minibeasts.<\/p>\n
John \u2013 I enjoyed learning about minibeasts by playing with the new toys.<\/p>\n
