Heavenly Father,
\nmake this Christmas special for all here today.
\nEven if we are unable to give presents, help us to give greetings.
\nEven if we do not receive what we want, help us to let people know that we are grateful that they
\nthought of us.
\nHelp us to remember what it was like in that stable in
\nBethlehem, where the baby Jesus spent his first days with
\nMary, Joseph and the animals gathered round, shepherds
\nassembled outside and the bright star showing the way to
\nthis place, your Son’s first home.
\nWe ask this in Jesus’ name.
