We have had a Hallowe’en fun filled week!\u00a0 Here are our best bits according to your wee pumpkins:<\/p>\n

Leah liked listening to the story, ‘Room on the Broom’ .\u00a0 Afterwards, the children worked with a partner to take turns balancing the different characters (different sized cubes) on the broom (a ruler balanced on a glue stick) without them falling off!\u00a0 Some groups had very good problem solving strategies.\u00a0 I was AMAZED!\u00a0 I think we have some future engineers in our midst!<\/p>\n

Ishani M loved our Hallowe’en Corners game!\u00a0 We were not able to dance to music indoors just now but we did move like skeletons and zombies.\u00a0 It was spoooooooky cooooooool!\u00a0 Congratulations to DaisyDee and Reyansh who were our winners and received a funky light up spinner as their prize.<\/p>\n

Jonah enjoyed handwriting.\u00a0 This was almost the only none Hallowe’en lesson during the week.\u00a0 The children revisited the formation of v and w.<\/p>\n

Ishani M recounts how her favourite part of the week was some Hallowe’en PE with Mrs Lafferty outside.<\/p>\n

Mrs Devlin’s highlight was witnessing how the children helped and encouraged one another when we made our Hallowe’en lanterns as some found them a little fiddily to make.\u00a0 A few children gave up their Choosing Time unasked to help some\u00a0 finish theirs.\u00a0 So sweet!<\/p>\n
