It has been another very busy week in Primary 1B.<\/p>\n
This week we have been looking at number 5 and forming all our numbers to five correctly using the correct starting point.<\/p>\n
We have been learning about the letter c and the sound it makes.\u00a0 We know c is a yellow sound and it is a short bouncy sound.\u00a0 The sound comes from the back of our throat.\u00a0 We are able to recall words that start with c and also words that end with c.\u00a0 We made beautiful crowns and practiced forming the letter.<\/p>\n
In writing this week we wrote a sentence about what we can do.\u00a0 Mrs Russell and Mrs Meikle were very proud of us.\u00a0 We are trying to remember to use finger spaces and a full stop at the end of our sentence to show we are finished.<\/p>\n
This week we had our first outdoor learning session we really enjoyed having the opportunity to practice writing our numbers and letters with chalk.<\/p>\n
We have started to learn Spanish.\u00a0 We can say hello and goodbye in Spanish.\u00a0 We also found Spain on a map and discussed how far away it is from Scotland.\u00a0 We also looked at the Spanish flag.\u00a0 We can’t wait to learn some new words next week.<\/p>\n
We have had lots of fun this week.<\/p>\n

I like playing with the Numicon shapes and blocks.\u00a0 (Sean)<\/p>\n
