What is the Parent Council?

St. Columba’s Parent Council has been formed to aid partnership between the school and the parents/carers of both school and nursery children.  This isn’t something new, it has been in place for a number of years however we are looking for additional support / input from you should you have some time.

A number of parents have asked what the Parent Council is, we support St. Columba’s with the following;

·  Helping with activities which will allow our children to develop and grow through their nursery and school years.

·  Identifying opportunities and organising events to support the raising of funds for the school which our children will benefit from.

·  Support parents/carers by raising items of interest or concern at the regular Parent Council meetings, which all are welcome to attend.

We welcome all input and support by parents/carers to help us to achieve the above for our children.  If you would like to become involved, know more about the Parent
