After consulting children and parents our Nurture Groups will now be called The Star Club.
On the Star Club Blog we will share our learning with you. This week we, played a new game called Land, Sea, or Air to develop our listening and attention skills. We continued this theme with a cutting and sorting activity. We listened to the Shirley Hughes Story ‘Dogger’ and started to make jointed models of the dog. We are learning to relax, listening to a CD called Enchanted Meditations for Kids. We lie with still bodies and listen to the soothing voice. This helps to improve focus and attention, develop confidence and creativity whilst enjoying a sense of calm and wellbeing.
