Thank you very much to all the parents who  helped us with our walk.

We started looking for numbers in the environment and we found so many! All the bins had their numbers to match with their houses.The lamps posts also have several numbers on them. On the road there were huge numbers telling us  the speed that the cars can travel at. Some of the children spotted some craws and we linked them to our craw song. We stopped at the road side and we spoke about how to keep our selves safe when crossing the road. On our way to post our letter we saw the post man in his van and we all gave him a wave. We went to the post box and spoke about what happens to the letters after they go in the box. Each child was given a letter to post for the blue group and we will see how long they  take to arrive. We went to the shop. We spoke about healthy snacks and every child chose an apple to take to the nursery for snack. We were looking at the cakes… but we stuck with the apples. Maybe in the better weather we could have a picnic in the nursery garden.  In the  afternoon we really felt the rain pouring down but it did not dampen our spirits.
