Primary 3 spent yesterday afternoon in the activity room experiencing different stations to do with their topic ‘The Environment’. Here are the pictures pupils took to show their learning.
Let’s get these Truffula Trees finished! We needed to make sure we put the tissue paper into balls before gluing it down onto the tree template. We are making a pink and yellow Truffula Tree for our classroom.
We can help look after our environment by picking up litter.
We counted the litter we found, Pink, Orange or Yellow depending on which team we were in.
We then recorded the results using tally marks.
We discussed different ways we would help look after the environment both at home and school with Miss Pattison. Can anyone working at this station remember the excellent suggestions they made?
We also made posters for the activity room and school with the messages on how to look after our environment.
We used research and reading skills to find out things about the sea, recycling and the environment. Some of us found some strange looking fish! What was the name of the fish again Lennon?
Some of us sorted litter into recycling bins using the smart board.
If Primary 3 would like to say anything about their learning yesterday afternoon, please comment on this post.
