P6/7 “Shoals O’ Herrin”

In answer to Mrs Hopkinson’s comment P6/7 created this wonderful display with Mr Bennett our Art Specialist. The class made observational drawings of herring then added tone using a combination of charcoal and chalk. The net was made using dashes of paint to create the texture of net and rope. P6/7 concentrated on the visual elements of line, pattern and tone and I’m sure you will agree were successful.The title came from the song Shoals O’ Herrin
