Welcome Back

Good morning everyone, I hope that you had a happy, healthy and safe Easter break? We have been very lucky to have had some lovely sunny weather and I know that I have really enjoyed getting outside for some long walks. The things that I have enjoyed the most while I have been out have been spotting some new baby animals. In the fields near to my house we now have lots of baby lambs. I love to watch them hopping and running around. But the thing that  made me smile the most is that we now have a new Highland calf nearby! Anybody that knows Miss Watt knows how much I love Highland cows! The wee calf is so cute! Yesterday I spotted a Moorhen gathering twigs and adding them to it’s nest! We’d love to know what you’ve been spotting whilst out and about or even what you’ve been up to at home.

At this time we usually start talking about life cycles and it is tradition that we grow our own caterpillars into butterflies. I decided last night that we would still do this so have ordered the baby caterpillars , however, they are going to take 3-4 weeks to arrive! Don’t worry though, as soon as they are here I will film their progress daily!
