Chinese New Year

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to tell you today a little bit about Chinese New Year. It starts on the 12th February this year and it is a year of the Ox. An Ox year happens every 12 years. The Ox has some lucky colours and they are: white, yellow and green.

We have a lot of fun during this time making lanterns, our own Chinese Dragon, trying to copy Chinese Symbols and decorating nursery. We carry out many crafty activities involving drawing, painting, cutting and gluing. We also try some Chinese Food. Mniam…

Below you will find a short video about Chinese New Year. I hope you will enjoy it ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe you can try to draw your own Ox orย  Dragon?

Thank you.
