Morning Prayer. Say a Hail Mary for all  families to come together in prayer and make prayer a special time to grow in love and faith in our Christian journey. Amen

HOMOPHONES are words that sound the same but have a different spelling / meaning. 

Homophones – these are homophones that always need lots of practise! Every teacher hopes that they can stop correcting this in your jotters! Let’s see if you can nail it and use the correct there, their, they’re.

Write a paragraph including the homphones : there, their and they’re correctly.

Talking and Listening – all groups

Read the newspaper article with your parent or who ever is helping you. Once you have read the article decide if you are yes or no and tell your parent your reasons why you choose this side of the argument. Your parent/carer might choose the opposite side of the argument and they must give their reasons why they feel that way.  This is called a debate. You could also encourage other members of your family to join in and have a family debate.  Remember all your talking and listening skills you learned in your co-operative learning groups.

• Give each other good eye contact.
• Speak slowly and clearly.
• Be polite and allow each other to speak without interruptions.
• Be clear about each point you make and explain why you feel this way.
