Morning everyone hope you are all well.
As this is health week in school we thought about trying some simple exercises at home. These routines are fun to do with your little ones. Remember to drink plenty water as you exercise.
Finger exercises – Open and close your fingers ten times.
Shoulder rolls – Roll your shoulders around five times.
Toe squeezes – Squeeze and stretch your toes ten times.
Mouth exercises – Open and close your mouth ten times.
Body shake – Shake your whole body for ten counts.
Smiles – Make five big smiles.
Stamps – Stamp your feet ten times.
Jumps – Jump up and down ten times.
Air punching – Punch the air in front of you ten times.
Hug stretch – Hug yourself and stretch your back a little by bending forward.
Try to think of other ways you can move your body to exercise and stay healthy. Sometimes it’s easier to participate when listening to your favourite music as you workout.
