Calling All Knitters and Crocheters – Buddy Bear Project

This year we haven’t been able to carry out our Nursery – Primary 1 transition as we would have liked. However, we would like to give our nursery children something to connect them to us which they can bring with them when they start nursery or school.

We are calling on all knitters and crocheters to help us make a bear for each child. The pattern is available through the link below. Any colour or mixture of colours would be appreciated.

Handing in arrangements:
School is open on weekdays from 11.30am until 1.30pm for lunch collection. We will place a box close to the lunch hall doors for you to put your completed bears in. Could you please place the bear in a bag with the date and time of bagging to comply with the current 72 hour quarantine protocols?  You could put a label on to let the children know who has made their bear.
Many thanks in advance.
