I have set a “reading to write task” today- the purpose of this task is to get your child used to returning to the text to look for information and to improve their skimming and scanning skills. Please encourage them to write the page number they find the word on. They may find the word more than once or not at all. This task can be used for any book your child is reading online or even one you have at home. I have chosen common words that are in most books, however, these words can be changed to fit the book you have chosen for your child.

Keep an eye on the blog at around half past 12 for your topic challenge this week.
