Morning Prayer. Say a Hail Mary for all those who live in homes where they are not able to get outdoors as much as those who have gardens. Let’s pray they are able to find some calm and peace and ways to have fun within confined places. Amen

So today is supposed to be a warm day! Let’s make the most of the time you are allowed outdoors with your family.  Why not make the perfect picnic/bbq . If you do not have a garden, you could take your picnic with you whilst you are out walking, make sure you find a secluded, quiet spot  away from other families or you could even create a picnic scene inside your house! It would be wonderful if you could be busy preparing all of this independently if your parents are working from home as it will be a lovely treat for them!

You have a lot of planning and preparation to do so get started now!

First of all this is a short video to teach you how to use a knife safely by learning the bridge method.

Here is an idea to make the perfect picnic sandwich.

If you live in a flat you can still have a picnic inside!

Here are some picnic hacks ( tips)

Now see if you can think of some of your own picnic hacks. I would love it if you could record yourself presenting your  own hacks and share them on teams on Monday. You could even post some on the blog.

PICNIC ENTERTAINMENT

Create your own general knowledge quiz.  Make sure you include lots of different topics like

Capitals of countries

Pop music

Books and television

Maths problems

Natural Disasters ( since you are experts)

History

Practise and perform a poem, joke, song or a dance to entertain your parents/brothers/sisters.

You will be using a lot of skills today to create the perfect picnic! Hope you enjoy being the perfect host! Take lots of photos to share on glow or teams.

Enjoy!
