L.I. I am using my metalinguistic strategies to work out the meaning of words.

  1. Read the next chapter of your book at home. As you read, write down the words that you are not sure of their meaning.

2. Use your metalinguistic strategies : Read Back, Read Forward, Peer/Parent discussion. Only after you have tried to work out the meaning for yourself, should you check the dictionary definition.

CHOICE AND ENJOYMENT

You can choose an activity you may wish to work on. For example learn coding skills using the SCRATCH website. I know you need no direction entering this site as I know that’s a very popular choice with you all!

Look at the post on the whole school blog for R.E activities recommended by St Andrew’s University faculty of Religious Education.  Make sure you can enter using the link so that I may prepare some learning in this area tomorrow.

END OF SCHOOL DAY PRAYERS

Well done for working so hard.  It is time to enjoy your evening with your family.  Remember it is always good to have a break from screen time.  Enjoy playing board games or card games with your family – it is super fun!

Take care and God bless
