Great fun this afternoon, constructing a map of Scotland and identifying key locations within it as part of our topic work this term.
Primary 6a Science and Technology
Primary 6 have been looking at electricity and circuits.
They have created their own games and then they shared them with Primary 2
Primary 6 Knex Challenge
This year’s Knex Challenge was to build a wheelbarrow, that could carry a book 5 meters.
The children worked in groups of four and I’m sure you’ll agree that they were successful in achieving their remit.
Scottish Parliament Trip
We had an interesting and informative morning at the Scottish Parliament today.
The children explored the Parliament Building, including the Debating Chamber, questioned an MSP and were able to discover more about the history of the Parliament through the exhibition that was on show.
An enjoyable day overall.
We had a mention on the Scottish Parliament Twitter feed too.
Primary 6a – RSPB Visit (Giving Nature a Home)
Primary 6a
We were exploring habitats and our school environment with the RSPB on Wednesday.
We worked in groups to create a ‘home’ for a creature and then presented these creations to the rest of our class.
The designs were well thought out. Great work Primary 6a
