Christmas is arriving in P4B

We are getting very excited in P4B and now only have a week to go. In Maths this week we did an assessment on Subtraction to finish off our block on this and we’ve gone onto multiplication. We all seem to love learning our tables and have enjoyed playing games to revise them and learn new ones. We now have a tables booklet which we’re enjoying working on but want to fill the whole book!! I’ve reminded them it’s to be done gradually.
In writing we have written another explanation text and had the choice of explaining the life cycle of a frog or a moth. We all did very well and also added a diagram to reinforce our explanation.
We used oil pastels for our Christmas cards and are looking forward to bringing them home in this next week.
Our PowerPoint presentations on volcanoes have begun and have been brilliant so far. Looking forward to the rest next week.
We really enjoyed watching P1 and 2 performing their Nativity songs on Friday and are only sorry we missed the dress rehearsal in the church due to the weather. They were brilliant with fantastic dance moves. Well done P1 and P2.
So we are looking forward to our last week. Our Christmas Party is on Tuesday so if the children bring their party outfits in a bag to change into for the afternoon.
Love from P4B and Mrs.Burton
