  1. Now complete the activity sheet “Parts of a Flower.”
  2. Did you manage to do that?
  3. Now see if you can use the sheet “Putting Together a Flower” or you could make up your own sheet.

Next week we will be looking at how you plant melon seeds so if you could get a melon for next week that would be great. If you can’t get a melon, any fruit would do. We will be planting next week!

P2/1 Welcome to June

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed Fitness Fortnight with the activities set by Mr Tennant. It was great to see some children participating and having lots of fun.

P2 – Here is the new P2 home learning grid – week 8 1.6.20 . We have changed it a little and the grid will now have 1 literacy activity, 1 Numeracy activity and 2 other activities for each day. The grid will still be issued on a Monday and you can complete the activities at a time which suits your family best.  You do not need to complete all activities and some of them you might try out more than once.  Remember to share any activities you do with me on Twitter.  I have also set some assessments on Sumdog and Education City if you want to have a go.

P1 – Your daily learning experiences will continue to be issued by the P1 teachers. I love to see what you are doing so remember to share with me on Twitter. I have also set you an assessment on Sumdog for this week.

Have a great day,

Mrs Davies

Good morning p2c,

I hope you all had lots of fun the past two weeks with our fitness fortnight, I sure enjoyed the challenges set by Mr Tennant.

We have updated our grid this week to give you the option f one literacy, one numeracy and two other tasks per day. Please do not feel you must complete all of these tasks, they are optional. I would love to see some of the activities you have managed to complete. Please share with me on twitter @MissButlerSPS

week 8 – click here

I will be updating sumdog, education city and active learn throughout the week, so keep an eye out for new challenges there.

Now that Mr Tennents challenges are finished – mine have returned. Todays challenge is to carry out a random act of kindness. Remember you have to do this sneakily (it could be leaving a nice note on a loved ones pillow, helping with the washing up after dinner etc.) I would love to hear about your acts of kindness.

Keep up the great work p2!

Miss Butler

Can you choose something from the picture below which describes what you are working on in each video? Listen carefully during each clip as there may be a clue!

Good morning everyone. Please click on the link below to access the Wellbeing Check-in Form discussed in Friday’s assembly. As I mentioned, it is really important that our pupils complete this form so that we know if there is anything else we can do to support their wellbeing at this time.
