We have been talking about our classroom and thinking about the opportunities we have for play, what areas we like best and those we would like to change.<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We have been learning about numbers and how to make them by adding on from 10, for example 10 + 6 = 16<\/li>\n<li>We have been learning to identify coins and add them to make a total<\/li>\n<li>We have been making words with letters<\/li>\n<li>We have been learning about the parts of the plants &#8211; roots, stem, leaves and flower and what each part does.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are working on our school value, be responsible, we are trying hard to keep our classroom tidy after we play, making sure everything returns to where it belongs.<\/li>\n<li>We will be continuing to work on our reading next week and new books will be issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have a lovely weekend<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been a fun week in Primary 1.
