On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week:<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Primary 7 pupils who took part in the Rotary Quiz this week really enjoyed the event and taking part in the quiz, even though it was a bit tricky. They did a great job and represented the school wonderfully well and came fifth in the quiz, which was brilliant<\/li>\n<li>We enjoyed our Writing lesson based on our debating arguments this week as nearly everyone in class managed to complete the task and most people wrote some strong arguments based on one of our class debates; social media use for young people, a four day week or the use of video technology in sport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We all really enjoyed getting some time outdoors this week with the lovely weather<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our Primary 7s enjoyed starting to plan for their leavers assembly as we discussed and decided on the songs that we will sing for the event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lots of us enjoyed our new topic of Distance, Speed and Time in Maths and learning how to do those calculations<\/li>\n<li>Lots of our Primary 7s enjoyed the High School meeting with Miss Thomson from Deans Community High School this week because they found out lots of details about timetables and subjects and got to hear some experiences from some of last year\u2019s P7s from Seafield about how they have been getting on at Deans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some of us felt that there was a bit of silliness during our debating lessons this week as prepared for our third class debate because some people were deleting paragraphs from speeches that were being written<\/li>\n<li>Some were a little frustrated that we weren\u2019t able to leave the school this week for Outdoor Learning as we didn\u2019t have another adult to come out with us<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our school value award winners for this week are Harris and Archie. Massive congratulations to them both!<\/p>\n<p>Well done P6\/7 for an excellent week in school.
