{"id":4749,"date":"2026-01-23T13:18:31","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/?p=4749"},"modified":"2026-01-23T13:18:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:18:31","slug":"primary-2-3-friday-23rd-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/2026\/01\/23\/primary-2-3-friday-23rd-january\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary 2\/3   Friday 23rd January"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a super week it\u2019s been in Primary 2\/3\u00a0 \u00a0Here\u2019s what we would like to share about our learning:<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We learned the Scots names for different animals and were able to write a sentence using Scots words and illustrate this.<\/li>\n<li>We learned about alliteration and used this to write poems which we then shared with the P1 class.<\/li>\n<li>We really enjoyed our Scottish assembly on Friday. Rose, Harriet and Bella did a brilliant job of representing P2\/3! It isn&#8217;t easy reciting a poem in front of the whole school so we are very proud of them.<\/li>\n<li>We are excited about our new WWF Happy in Nature passports.\u00a0 We are looking forward to getting lots of stamps in our passports during outdoor learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth (things that we need to do to improve our learning)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Maths, we&#8217;ve been learning about equations and although we understood about each side balancing, we did find it difficult to find the missing values.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve also been practising our joined handwriting and we found it particularly tricky to join an &#8216;s&#8217; onto other letters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our school value award winners for this week are Zaynab and Ava.
