We have been getting to know our classmates, our classroom and according to some of the children today &#8211; The best teachers in the world!<\/p>\n<p>Tickled Pink<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We read the book Our Class is a Family and used this to start planning our Class Charter. We did some lovely drawings for our wall display.<\/li>\n<li>We created a class book using a black dot and our imagination&#8230;&#8230; the dot became a balloon, a sunflower, a bug in the garden, a nut for a squirrel, a planet in space. a pair of glasses, a creature in the ocean &#8211; we showed our teachers that we have a great imagination!<\/li>\n<li>We made lovely bookmarks.<\/li>\n<li>We had a whole school assembly &#8211; it was nice to sit in the P2\/3 area.<\/li>\n<li>Seeing our friends and playing outside.<\/li>\n<li>Playing parachute games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Green for Growth<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We used number fans for some mental maths &#8211; it was tricky for some of us using them for the first time!<\/li>\n<li>It was a bit tricky using our new word books to start with but it did help us with our spelling &#8211; especially when we were writing acrostic poems about ourselves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking forward to next week when we have a full week of school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a great first week in P2\/3.
