{"id":3898,"date":"2025-02-28T12:50:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T12:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/?p=3898"},"modified":"2025-02-28T12:50:16","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T12:50:16","slug":"p6-7-friday-28th-february-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/seafieldps\/2025\/02\/28\/p6-7-friday-28th-february-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"P6\/7 Friday 28th February 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Tickled Pink<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We enjoyed developing our badminton skills during PE.<\/li>\n<li>The P6 pupils also had the opportunity to have a badminton coaching session with the DCHS Sports Leaders.<\/li>\n<li>In Maths we learned to convert imperial and metric measurements and the P7 pupils were measuring volumes as part of their high school science transition activities.<\/li>\n<li>During the Maths transition session, with Mr McConville from DCHS, we were learning algebra and used what we&#8217;d learned to create mobiles making sure that they balanced.<\/li>\n<li>We all enjoyed preparing for our forthcoming debate on animal testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green for Growth<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We found our mental maths calculations tricky because of the restricted time we had to complete them.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking forward to visiting areas around the village for our outdoor learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our Lead Learners this week were Alfie and Abbie and they chose to focus on:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Listen to teachers respectfully<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible on laptops<\/li>\n<li>Be sensible when sitting on a chair<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A huge well done to everyone in P6\/7 who managed to achieve these targets.
